Corrections, feedback, ad inquiries, and privacy requests.

How to reach us

You can email us at contact@budgettools.net. There's no contact form on this site — a plain email gives both sides a clearer record of the conversation, and avoids any concern about a form quietly failing.

For most messages, please include enough context that we can act on the email without a back-and-forth: the page URL you're writing about, the calculator inputs you used (if relevant), and what you'd like to happen.

Common reasons people write

Corrections

If something on this site is factually wrong — a price that's out of date, a feature that's been added or removed from an app, a calculation that doesn't match what you expected — please tell us. Include the URL and the specific paragraph or row you're flagging. Corrections that hold up under review usually get applied within a few days.

Suggestions

Ideas for new calculators, new app reviews, or guides we should write are welcome. We can't promise to act on every suggestion, but they do influence what we work on next.

Bug reports

If a calculator behaves unexpectedly, please describe what you typed in, what you expected, and what actually happened. Browser and operating system are useful too. We don't see the values you enter into the calculators, so we can't reproduce a bug without that detail.

Privacy and data requests

Use "Privacy" in the subject line for anything related to our Privacy Policy, including GDPR or CCPA requests. Note that, because we don't run accounts, in most cases the data you may want to act on lives with our advertising partners rather than with us — see the privacy policy for details.

Press, partnership, and ad inquiries

Mention "Press" or "Advertising" in the subject. Please include who you represent and what you're asking about. We're a small operation and may not respond to generic outreach, but legitimate inquiries do get answered.

What we don't do by email

  • Personal financial advice. We're a publisher, not an advisor. We can't review your individual situation or recommend products for you. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.
  • Account help for the apps we review. If you have a problem with YNAB, Monarch, Quicken Simplifi, or any other app reviewed on the site, contact that company directly — we don't have a relationship with their support teams.
  • Tax, legal, or investment advice. Same reason. Talk to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

Response times

We try to respond within a few business days. Privacy and correction requests are prioritized. We're a small editorial operation rather than a 24/7 support team, so messages sent on weekends or holidays may take longer.
